Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT)/ Threat Assessment Team (TAT) Chair Training
Class Description
D. Stafford & Associates is offering a 1 day (11am – 5pm Eastern Time) training course is designed specifically for people who serve as the Chair or leader of Behavioral Intervention Teams (BIT)/Threat Assessment Teams (TAT). This training course will focus on creating and assessing the infrastructure of teams from A to Z including mission/goals, operating procedures, team membership, team training, community outreach, managing senior level expectations, resources, ethics, and conducting after action reviews.
Who Should Attend
This training course is designed for chairs and/or their designee of a BIT/TAT team.
Certification
Attendees of this class will receive a certificate from D. Stafford & Associates. The certificate verifies attendance in this class and can serve as an institution’s documentation that the attendee has received training that addresses issues related to their leadership on behavioral intervention and/or threat assessment teams.
Faculty
This training program will feature expert faculty who serve or who have served as practitioners serving on college and university campuses throughout the country in the areas of behavioral intervention, threat assessment, student conduct, and student affairs.
